The Hearst Castle in San Simeon is owned and operated by the State of California and some parts of the Castle are now being offered to the public for events such as weddings. If you are one of the fortunate ones to be able to afford it, the Hearst Castle is a premium location for your dream wedding. More information can be found on the official website here. I took these snapshots while visiting the Castle with my family. My assistant Sophie ( she was 2 at that time) was very helpful. Tired of climbing the stairs and very disappointed that princess Belle from "The Beauty and the Beast" was not there to say "Hi", she decided to climb daddy's shoulders and sit on my neck the whole time (holding on to my head and covering my eyes with her tiny hands, as she often does to help me navigate around better) while I was trying to take that perfect family scrapbook shot. Thank you sweetheart! They came out great!
